Description
There are western express drivers constantly going through Roanoke to get from Forest Hills to Midlothian Turnpike. This is unsafe because they occupy too many lanes in the turns, and I've seen them hit signs and other objects several times. Additionally, while following one across the small bridge on Roanoke near the Forest Hills intersection, I witnessed the tractor trailer tire crush the asphalt down into the sinkhole that is forming on that bridge. It's not safe for those trucks.

- Staff · August 3, 2023This is intersection is one which is getting a signal upgrade through our Complete Streets and CVTA funding sources. Construction is to start in September of 2023 and should address many of the concern in the description.
