Description
Ellwood @N Sheppard continues to be a very dangerous intersection for pedestrians, drivers, & vehicles on the roadway as well as those parked at residences along the rodway. Visibility is low when driving on N Shepord across Elwood &car continue to occur very regularly with severe/total car damage, injuries to those persons in the cars &emotional trauma for residents continually triaging injured persons at this intersection. PLEASE make this intersection safe for car & pedestrian traffic.

- Staff · May 8, 2024Ellwood at Sheppard has curb extensions to enhance traffic safety for pedestrians. Each intersection leg also has pedestrian crosswalks. An eight-year search of the DMV crash data base (1.1.2016 – 12.31.23) did not show any reported pedestrian crashes.
