Description
This intersection is really dangerous from multiple directions. First issue is that Dove St is so wide and there is no pedestrian safety infrastructure, even though there is a purpose built bike path that crosses this street here. There is no sidewalk on Dove for crossing Rich Henrico Tpke. Driving up Rich Henrico Tpke from the south has you hit this intersection at a high rate of speed with very little warning, especially difficult at night. Some markings on the road here would help.

- Staff · January 9, 2024Dove St is posted at 25mph and City Council adopted a Resolution to increase the speeding fines by $200. It is signed accordingly. A crosswalk will be installed on Dove at the shared use path.
