Description

For years, this traffic light has been the cause of of delayed traffic for those wanting to turn left off of Main Street at 25th Street. Can you all please please please add a green left arrow to this stoplight? There are so many people coming from the East End at the end of the day that, its near impossible to make it through two cycles at this light for those waiting to turn left. It would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Citizen, Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about the traffic light at Main Street and 25th Street. We appreciate your feedback regarding the difficulty of turning left onto 25th Street from Main Street during peak times. After reviewing the current traffic data, we have determined that the application of a protected left turn phase at this intersection is not warranted at this time. However, we understand the inconvenience caused and will continue to monitor the intersection closely over the next 12 months. If there are any significant changes in traffic patterns or conditions at the intersection during this period, we will reassess the situation accordingly. Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention. Your input is valuable as we strive to ensure efficient and safe traffic flow throughout our city.
