Description

The allowed on-street parking on Moore St should be moved further back from Altamont Ave to improve visibility for drivers turning onto Moore Street from Altamont. I've witnessed multiple collisions and near-collisions at this intersection due a complete lack of visibility of oncoming traffic and the above-limit speeds motorists travel on Moore.

    Thank you for your concern. After conducting an analysis using the most recent traffic data from the DMV, I have created work orders to trim the limbs obstructing the stop sign and to install "Stop Ahead" signs in both directions on Altamont Avenue. Additionally, please be aware that No Parking signs are already in place on Moore Street for both curbs.
