Description
At times, traffic volume and speed exceed safe limits on the section of Bunting Avenue between Kensington Avenue and Grove Avenue. Most drivers are exceeding the 25 mph speed limit (some are over 40 mph). This creates a safety hazard for pedestrians on Bunting and a collision hazard at the cross streets, especially at Hanover. I propose that stop signs be installed on Bunting Avenue at the Hanover Avenue intersection.

Based on MUTCD and the traffic data available, the application of Multi-Way Stop at this location was not warranted. I am closing this service request. we will be evaluating this location in a 12-month period from now to see if there are any traffic related safety issues. No further action is needed for now.
