Description
Vehicles are regularly speeding on MacArthur between Laburnum and Nottoway. I think it's worse now with the Door Dash drivers going to the restaurants. There is a lot of foot and bicycle traffic on MacArthur. Please consider installing speed bumps and/or more stop signs.

- Staff · August 2, 2023* The Department follows Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) guidelines for the installation of any physical traffic calming measures on City streets. * Per speed study, the 85th percentile speed is 28 mph. The speed samples show compliance with the posted 25 mph speed. Therefore, we are not planning any physical traffic calming measures at this time. * The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. This is a federal publication that applies to all streets open to pubic travel.
