Description

It is obvious that this tree was not planted intentionally, but has been allowed to grow in the tree well for many years. It blocks the opening of a car's passenger door, and drops a sticky substance on surrounding cars when in leaf. The tree sets on the sidewalk in front of 1723 Park Ave. As owner of 1721 Park Ave., I will pay to plant a new tree, if the City would come cut down this nuisance and take away the stump and roots. Thanks. Thanks for removing the tree which was located in the tree well in front of 1723 Park Avenue. Could you please expedite the complete removal of the stump, so that I may, at my own expense, acquire and plant a suitable replacement? While I believe the City will come remove the stump within six months, there is work I must do to prepare the soil, build a barrier around the tree well to keep dogs from fouling the soil, and plant the tree. Waiting until year's end would be too late to complete.
