Description

The intersection of E 5th Street and Hull Street has drivers speeding, endangering pedestrians and drivers. Visibility is obstructed when turning onto Hull Street due to parked cars and buses. Please place visibility mirrors and a speed bump to improve safety.

    Hull Street is on the High Injury Network, making it a corridor the Department spends time and resources trying to improve. Several projects are underway and on the horizon for this corridor. - The Mayo Bridge will be closed while it's being replaced. - A traffic signal is planned for the 5th Street intersection. - Streetscape projects are planned between Mayo Bridge and Commerce Street. - Parking restrictions are being evaluated to improve visibility and flow of transit vehicles.
