Description
The signal at Three Chopt & Grove only allows a few (5-6) cars to pass for vehicles heading south on Three Chopt and West on Grove. FOr traffic heading north on Three Chopt the lights stays on for over 2 minutes. This is causing major back-ups on Groove and Three CHopt. Suggest changing signal timing and having police at intersection to control traffic flow.

Due to the heavy traffic at Grove Ave caused by the closure of Cary St during the sewer construction project, traffic has been detoured thru Grove Ave. This is causing Grove Ave to be oversaturated, hence more green time has been granted to this corridor. The Transportation Engineering Division has been monitoring the traffic condition and making adjustments in the timing as needed. No further action is needed at this moment. Request willbe closed.
