Description

This is a request to make this intersection a three way stop (i.e. add two stop signs on Broad). Parked vehicles on Broad obstruct the view when turning either left or right from Chimborazo. Also, vehicles approaching from Fulton area on Broad tend to soedd around the corner when coming uphill.

    The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection does not currently meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop.
