Description
This is a secondary road that has seen increasing amount of travel at very high speeds for a residential community. Numerous requests have been posted for an assessment and the placement of speed bumps which are present on less-traveled side streets in nearby neighborhoods. A response would be appreciated.

- Staff · February 27, 2024A low number of drivers use this street. No traffic calming projects are planned for Wentbridge at this time. In the interim, neighbors and other concerned stakeholders should work collectively to: - Grow a safety culture within the neighborhood and community gathering places; - Increase driver awareness of people walking, biking and riding transit; and - Promote safe driving practices by educating drivers about the posted speed limit and why speeding impacts the most vulnerable users.
