Description
There is a sidewalk crossing for wheelchairs at 8 1\2 canal Apts but people block it so wheelchairs can't cross. We have to cross at the parking garage or elsewhere & ride in the street to get across to the other sidewalk on canal st. I was hit by a car today using my wheelchair to cross the street because someone was blocking the handicap ramp/crossing. The driver backed up and hit me because he couldn't see me. This wouldn't have happened if people didn't block our wheelchair crossing.
