Description
This pedestrian crossing on 24th St. and E. Main is very much in need of fluorescent yellow crosswalk signs as seen in the fourth photo below, whose location is near 22nd street near the walking path along the canal nearby. Traffic is heavy at most times on E. Main and it is nearly impossible for pedestrians to safely cross E. Main at 24th St. to go to Fresh Market, CVS Pharmacy, the gym, or to their homes in Shockoe Bottom or Church Hill neighborhoods, whether walking or getting off the bus. Correction: The grocery store name at 24th and E. is called Farm Fresh, not Fresh Market. Just for clarification purposes. Thanks.
