Description

The intersection of 25th and Clay street is very dangerous for drivers and pedestrians. In the past year we have witnessed several accidents and close calls. Today there was an accident at this intersection that could have been prevented if there was a traffic light. I have seen this happen several times. It is also very difficult for pedestrians to cross the street to get to the post office and several businesses on 25th. Drivers also drive very fast and it makes the neighborhood unsafe.

I have started my investigation on this request. I need the crash reports from the RPD. I will add an update here once I receive all the data I need, and when I am done with the analysis.

Dear Citizen, Thank you for sharing your concern with us. Upon receiving the crash data for this specific location, I conducted an intersection safety analysis. Thus, we will soon install new stop signs on all approaches of this intersection as a result of the multi-way stop application analysis. Regards
