Description

The present signs are not effective in slowing/stopping traffic in any of the crosswalks around Lee Circle. Increased pedestrian traffic once the Circle is reopened will be putting people at risk implying that cars will stop as they try to cross street. Surely plans are in the works to increase pedestrian safety at the crosswalks??

    The last eight years of reported crashes do not show any pedestrian crashes at Monument and Allen. The pedestrian crossing signs are installed at each crosswalk here. No changes are planned at this time.
