Description
Going in Forest Hill Ave East at Joe Brooks Blvd drivers are making U turns from the turn lane. The problem is that there is not enough clarance and sometimes drivers have to back up in the misdle of traffic to complete the turn. A NO U TURN sign is necessary. I have attcahed 3 photograph ine shwing the driver in front of making a U-Turn with little clarance to complete the turn.

I have pulled the crash reports of this intersection for the past four year's (2019-2023) to conduct my analysis. There is only one crash (Property Damage crash) involving the U-turn Lane at this intersection for the past four years. Therefore, we cannot consider it as an unsafe intersection. No further action is needed for the moment. We will be evaluating this intersection again in a 12-month period to see if there exist any safety issue/s.
