*** SECOND REQUEST *** There has been excessive standing water for months now, and the City of Richmond has done nothing. It is now completely frozen over both on the sidewalk, on the curb, in the gutter, and into the road. It is a major slip and fall hazard this winter. Someone could also have a car accident. When someone inevitably falls and injures or kills themselves, should the lawsuit and medical bills be directed at the City or the homeowner?

- Staff · June 30, 2023Upon investigate this location DPU Personnel Sumpter assess this location is not a DPU/Stormwater due to the location has no Stormwater asset the main is low spot at the location which can hold water. The issue but possible a DPW/ Roadway issue with low curb and gutter and has be redispatch to the correct department and division within DPW.
