- Staff · August 10, 2023An engineering study should be performed per Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before crosswalks are installed at locations away from a traffic control signal or an approach controlled by a STOP or traffic signal and it describes the factors that should be considered in the study. Per engineering study, there are not adequate gaps in traffic for crosswalks at Moss Side Ave and Brookland Park Blvd.
