Description
Excessive and dangerous speeding (>45mph) continues on Moss Side Ave between Ladies Mile and Westwood. A single speed table was installed in 2022; however, it was insufficiently located (near an already 4-way stop intersection) to address any speeding on 80% of this block. This stretch of Moss Side requires *at least* another two speed tables given the width and length of the block, similar to parallel blocks on Hawthorne and Noble, to address dangerous speeding.

- Staff · August 3, 2023• The length of the roadway segment between Westwood Ave and Ladies Mile Rd measures approximately 1200’. One speed table has been installed on this section of the road. The optimum spacing of speed tables is 600’. Therefore, we are not planning to install any additional physical traffic calming measures at this time.
