Description
There are a number of deep sinkholes in the alley at the corner the corner of my building and directly behind my house at 525 N 1st Street. I have raised this issue last December, and nothing has come of it: first request was DPW00009429; second request 000101398; nothing has been done. Everytime it rains, the holes get deeper, and more cobblestones break poose. Updated photos below Further erosion in alley beside 525 N 1st (2 photos); further deterioration behind Hippodrome (3 photos; previous failed fixes using gravel and asphalt over sinking cobblestones (3 photos). This National Historic Landmark cobblestone alley needs to be restored, not patched. The lack of proper drainage is a health hazard.
