Description

Please repaint crosswalks at this intersection that were here until repaving in 2020 and add new speed controls. I have put in at least ten 311 requests to have to the crosswalks repainted since they were paved over. Everyother intersection had the crosswalks repainted. Now a pedestrian has died because our intersections aren’t safe.

    The crosswalks have been repainted. A discussion on pedestrian safety in the City of Richmond is planned at the next Safe & Health Streets Commission on January 18, 2023 between 2-4pm held at the Richmond Public Library, 101 E Franklin St.
