Description

Cherokee Road has become even more dangerous than before. I realize rhe deep shoulders limit what can be done without major construction. However, center lane rumble strips would help keep drivers aware and avoid drifting over the center lines. There are many close calls and near misses on this narrow road. Thank you.

Cherokee between Forest Hill and Huguenot has “low shoulder drop off” and “enhanced speed fine” signs now. Centerline rumble strips are not planned at this time. A project to implement roadside safety improvements are in the adopted FY23 budget.
