Description

I live on a stretch of Cherokee that has lots of speeding traffic, which has become more dangerous than it needs to be, particularly when Trinity lets out and the students fly down Cherokee. The speed limit is 25, but truly hardy anyone obeys that limit. But, I have noticed the speed tables that were installed on Cherokee east of Hugenot (which I think are working well), and I am wondering if the City could also install speed humps on Cherokee west of Hugenot.

    Speed tables are not planned on this section of Cherokee Rd (8600 block) given the street typical section. This section is signed for an enhanced speed penalty of $200. One more penalty sign is plannedfor this section
