To all, Good Morning Although the pothole has water in it, close observation shows no indication of a water infiltration. The water is simply the leftover from the storm last night. Asphalt failures in the road are consistent leading up to the issues stated. All dirt and rocks have been replaced to the hole and a barrel placed over the hole for safety until repaving can occur. As stated there appears to be no water infiltration into this hole, and there is no sinking of underlying substrate. It may be prudent however to have water distribution inspect the pothole and possible minute water infiltration as the fire hydrant trunk line and service line are in close proximity to the existing pothole.
