Description

With all of the traffic from the stores/shops/Stella’s on Lafayette, it is hard for those of us in the 3900 block of Wythe to safely cross Lafayette or even turn onto Lafayette. This intersection should be a four way stop.

The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stopsmust meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of Lafayette and Wythe does not meet the conditions set forth in the MUTCD for an all-way stop.
