Description
2 way stop signs added to Cherokee rd. At the crossroad with Meridale Rd. To create a 4-way stop. This is a BLIND intersection on Cherokee at the top of a dangerous hill. Cars come speeding over this hill and often crash in the ditch. This is a residential neighborhood with heavy, speeding traffic. The speed humps have not done enough to slow down traffic. We need stop signs on Cherokee Rd. This intersection needs it most desperately.

Comments
- Staff · September 15, 2022Cityworks ID: 482442
- Staff · September 22, 2022The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. This is a federalpublication that applies to all streets open to pubic travel. The intersection of Cherokee Rd and Meridale Rd does not meet the conditions set forth in the MUTCD for an all-way stop.
