Description

There is a serious speeding issue on E Franklin St between N 25th and N 28th streets. People are speeding through E Franklin constantly, there is a lot of throughfare because Libby Park is popular. Due to people parking too closely to corner curbs the line of sight for drivers can be poor. The cross walk and stop sign at N 28th are often ignored. There are a lot of children and pedestrians in the area and someone is going to get hurt or worse if a speed hump or dip is not created on E Franklin.

    Speed samples do not justify speed tables. 25mph signs are posted in each direction. DPW will review sight lines at intersections for parking restrictions.
