Description
Requesting a crosswalk Many people cross the street to walk on Hillcrest Avenue and now there are a number of school-aged kids who like to walk or bike from the Hillcrest neighborhood and need to cross Cary. This is also a spot where I frequently see cars veer off the road while they check their phones, so can be particularly dangerous.

- Staff · September 28, 2022Crosswalks alone are not sufficient for Cary St. Traffic must be controlled with traffic signals to create gaps for people to safely cross. A traffic signal is not planned in the area of Hillcrest Ave.
