Description

Maple Ave between Grove and Patterson Aves is a residential street heavily trafficked by cars trying to avoid Libbie Ave in the mornings/evenings, as well as car commuting between the two schools, St. Catherine's and St. Christopher's. Car routinely go well above the speed limit (25) and run the stop signs. We would like to request traffic calming measures be installed, similar to those in place on the rest of Maple Ave. This is the only section of Maple Ave without traffic calming.

More traffic calming on Maple is not planned at this time based on the following: - Stopped conditions along Maple between Grove and Patterson - Traffic circles at Guthrie and at Christopher - 2022 speed samples of 23mph for mean speed and 27mph for 85th percentile speeds
