Description

there's a tremendous amount of foot traffic (between the many apartments, Canal Walk, and Browns Island), lots of bikers (being on the Capital Trail), and car traffic. there's a big blind spot where the flood wall curves and has a "doorway" near 1200 E. Byrd St - cars and pedestrians don't realize the other is around the corner. at minimum a few speed bumps are needed to slow cars before they hit that curve. there also needs to be more safe pedestrian space throughout that entire block.
