Description

This pedestrian crossing is extremely dangerous and unmarked. It appears that there used to be a sign to yield to pedestrians, but it was struck by a vehicle (evidence of its necessity) and not replaced

Thank you for your email about pedestrian safety on Broad St in the area of I-95. This area has been field reviewed. Pavement marking and sign work orders have been prepared to replace and install relatedsigns and to freshen the pavement markings. DPW is also planning to install a Pedestrian hybrid beacon on Broad about mid-way between 14th St and Oliver Hill Way. This is a pedestrian safety improvement.
