Description

There needs to be an increased awareness. This is a high volume intersection and have seen multiple families come close to getting hit by vehicles moving at speeds of 30-40mph. I almost saw a child get hit by a car on Saturday, please escalate this as it is Summer and there could be an incident any day. I will be requesting a change in speed limit in a separate ticket. Thank you

    The City does not install “Slow - Children Crossing” or “Children at Play” type signs. The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (the national standard for all roads open to public travel) does not include these signs and therefore they are nonstandard and inappropriate for the City to install.
