Description

We live on the corner of Reedy Ave & W 47th St and are just one of many families with small children playing, riding bikes, taking walks, etc etc. People recklessly fly down 47th coming either from Forest Hill Ave or from the apartments at the end of the block. It’s scary. We miss the 4-way STOP that used to be there as it at least caused folks to slow down. The street is in desperate need of repaving any way as it was left in complete shambles after all the sewer work last year. Please help.

    here are two traffic circles on W. 47th St between Forest Hill Ave and Bassett Ave. No additional traffic calming measures are planned at this time.
