Description
traffic safety concern we experience from speeding cars turning off Cary Street Road onto Stratford Crescent. My neighbors and I hope the City will install speed bumps on Stratford Crescent to physically slow down speeding cars. We fear speed limit signs will fail to remedy our safety concern as they physically cannot slow down the frequent reckless drivers who cut through our neighborhood. gps systems are partially to blame as they have turned Roslyn Road into a cut through street

- Staff · June 10, 2022DPW field reviewed and these streets do not qualify for speed tables given the street length and network geometry. Our general policy is to only consider speed tables on streets at least 1200’ in length.Stafford Crescent, Oak St, Roslyn Rd and Greenway Lane are all less than 1200’. Stafford Crescent is a narrow curved street. Stafford Crescent, Oak St and Greenway Lane all have 25mph sings in each direction between Cary St and Grove St. No additional signs or traffic calming measures are planned.
