Description

Residents are requesting a stop light to slow traffic coming off the of the bridge. Sadly, we lost a pedestrian last year.

    he Department of Public Works must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing a traffic signal. Warrants in the MUTCD Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices must be met. The intersection of Belvidere St and Holly St does not meet the conditions set forth in the MUTCD for a traffic signal.
