Description

Someone ran over the pedestrian stop sign. Now cars have resumed zooming by this VERY BUSY crossing. When it was installed it really cut down on the speeders. Please come fix?!

DPW had a federal safety project to install "STOP for pedestrians" signs at 55 high incident locations selected across the City. The selected locations had a high number of pedestrian crashes. We will evaluate the effectiveness of the new signs and the sustainability before installing more signs. DPW purchased several extra signs for knockdowns but have depleted our stock.
