Description
There are NO signs or placards on Riverside Drive to direct motorists to the appropriate Huguenot Bridge / Route 147 North and South-bound “On-ramps”. I have observed motorists making South-bound turns from the North-bound Riverside Drive “On-ramp”. VDOT approved directional signs to the correct ramps should be positioned on the Huguenot Bridge structure. These signs will prevent confusion for visitors to the James River Park System “Pony Pasture” and “Huguenot Flat Water” areas. Thank you. For a third time, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 @ 6:10 pm, I saw a motorist making a South-bound, left-hand turn from the crest of the Riverside Drive, North-bound “On-ramp”. PLEASE immediately position signs ALONG Riverside Drive that will direct motorists to the South-bound “On-Ramp”. I will contact Mr. Travis Bridewell (RVA, DPW TEO) & RVA, 4th District Councilwoman Nye about this this chronic public safety issue.
