Description
Large sink hole in road. Cavern below is about 2 feet deep, 2 feet wide and 6 feet long, even though the hole is only about a foot wide. This is in front of my house where cars park often. If repair will take a long time, it may be best to mark this with cones or markers so people don’t fall in.

- Staff · April 7, 2022PU Storm Water Supervisors W. Tolson assess this location on 4/7/2022: Found: Cavitation in roadway next to curb & gutter. Could not make contact with citizen at the time of assessment (Supervisors knocked on door). Cause of cavitation based on onsite assessment & GIS appears related to the sanitary sewer lateral. Request has been forwarded to DPU Wastewater Division. Wastewater Division Supervisor has open a Work Order & referred this location fordye test. Request closed to DPU Storm Water Division but remains open to DPU Wastewater Division.
