Description
I submitted this request back in Oct. I received no updates before it was recently closed. I cannot read any comments, nor can I get an update on what was decided. I see many new curb ramps being added just a block away, we've had nothing done. As outlined originally, E Clay St currently has NO stop signs for several blocks and only two poorly designed, often ignored roundabouts. The corner requested sits at the bottom of a hill w/o CROSSWALKS, and has VERY POOR visibility for cars crossing.

Comments
- Staff · March 25, 2022Cityworks ID: 467285
- Staff · April 7, 2022he VA Crash Map does not show any reported crashes at E. Clay St and N. 27th St. The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on UniformTraffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. This is a federal publication that applies to all streets open to pubic travel. The intersection of E. Clay St and N. 27th St does not meet the conditions set forth in the MUTCD for an all-way stop.
