Description
The visibility for those on E Franklin is very limited in both directions at 21st due to the cars parked on the street. All day long you hear cars that are driving down 21st honking at cars trying to cross the intersection. From personal experience, its very difficult to see oncoming traffic coming down 21st towards E Main St. We’ve already witnessed an accident in this location and have seen many close calls.

Comments
- Staff · March 18, 2022Cityworks ID: 466820
- Staff · March 25, 2022No parking signs have been installed on the corners on 21st St at Franklin St to improve intersection sight distance. A traffic signal study was performed before and the intersection did not meet the conditions set forth in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. (This is the federal manual that all traffic engineers use to determine if a new traffic signal is warranted.)
