Description

Hull street between Commerce Ave and the Mayo bridge has become increasingly busier with new apartment residences and many new restaurants and retail spaces opening. Currently there is no crosswalk or safe way for pedestrians to cross the busy road between parking and various establishments. There needs to be a crosswalk or light installed at least a couple of intersections for the safety of both the pedestrians and drivers. Thank you.

Crosswalks alone are not sufficient for Hull Street. Traffic must be controlled with signals to create gaps for people to safely cross. A traffic signal is planned at Hull and 5th St in the future.
