Description

A crosswalk is needed in front of the Richmond Alternative School, located at 119 W. Leigh St. The principal has asked for this crosswalk to for the benefit of the safety of the students. Cars are speeding by and a crosswalk could prevent an accident.

    The City Pedestrian, Bicycle and Trails Coordinator was consulted. He did not support an additional crosswalk on Leigh St. Crosswalks exist now at the Leigh St and Adams St / Chamberlayane Pkwy signalized intersection and it has pedestrian signal indications.
