Description

This intersection is absolutely crazy. There are accidents at least weekly. There are signs that say yield for pedestrians but people ignore them always and even drive over the signs. It's 25 MPH but you'd never know it because people fly through all the time going well over 45 MPH. There is no speeding enforcement to speak of and this intersection is nothing but screeching tires and horns all the time. This needs to be a 4 way stop or a larger traffic circle like Six Points has. It's dangerous.

This intersection does not meet the criteria for all-way stop control. The crosswalks have been upgraded to high-vis due to the trail crossing, and this intersection is one of the pilot locations under evaluation for the in-street "stop for peds" signs. Existing 25MPH speed limit signs are also present in both directions.
