Description

Please repair Walk Sign in the crosswalk. It was hit over the weekend and needs to be replaced. This is a heavily used cross walk over a busy street and many children use it to get to school. Thank you for your prompt attention.

    DPW had a federal safety project to install "STOP for pedestrians" signs at 55 high incident locations selected across the City. The selected locations had a high number of pedestrian crashes. We will evaluate the effectiveness of the new signs and the sustainability before installing more signs. DPW purchased several extra signs for knockdowns but have depleted our stock.
