Description
The school zone crosswalk at W Laburnum and Monticello is outside of the established 25 mph zone. A new sign needs to be installed to the east along with a 'School Zone Ahead' sign. Pedestrian controlled signage should be installed at the crosswalk such that yellow lights flash when a pedestrain pushes a button so motorists are alerted to the presence of a pedestrian when school is not in session.

- Staff · January 25, 2022There are two existing projects at this intersection - A Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) is planned and should be complete in late 2022/early 2023.
