Description

At approx. 1:30 a.m. this morning a driver coming down Semmes (northbound) lost control of his vehicle (light colored Pontiac Vibe/VA tag UKL-1194) and struck and damaged the guardrail in front of houses on W. 7th St. RPD responded to the incident (IBR 20211119-0031 / 20211119-0166). The guardrail is badly damaged and we are concerned that if it is not repaired quickly (and other precautions taken) it will not adequately stop the next impaired or incompetent driver.
