Description
South Arthur Ashe Boulevard needs some speed control features. Ideas include speed cameras, increased speed enforcement, speed humps or other speed reducing infrastructure in order to persuade drivers to slow down. I see drivers constantly exceeding the posted speed limit for this high pedestrian residential neighborhood. There was a fatal crash that involved pedestrians next door to me related to speed https://www.nbc12.com/2021/05/05/driver-killed-carytown-crash-after-striking-pole/

Comments
- Staff · November 15, 2021Cityworks ID: 458318
- Staff · November 15, 2021The Arthur Ashe Blvd corridor has good coverage of speed limit signs. The Fire Marshall doesn’t support speed tables on this strategic corridor for emergency response. The RPD has been notified of speeding concerns.
