Description
Please add a traffic signal or 4-way stop to this intersection. The line of sight from E. Clay is terrible. You have to practically pull all the way into the intersection to see oncoming traffic. Tonight, there was an accident at this intersection where a car with a child in it flipped onto its side. We don't need any more accidents like this.

- Staff · October 7, 2021The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing a traffic signal or an all-way stop. Warrants in the MUTCD Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices must be met. This is a federal publication that applies to all streets open to pubic travel. The intersection of N. 25th St and E. Clay St was studied before and did not meet the conditions set forth in the MUTCD for a traffic signal or an all-way stop. No Parking signs were installed on the corners to improve sight distance.
