Description
I submitted a request previously and understand a Pedestrian Beacon has been approved. I'm following up to get an update. Now that school has started I have witnessed families/kids unsafely run across the street to get to school. Children need a safe way to walk to school. thank you!

- Staff · October 1, 2021I checked with the City Pedestrian, Bicycle and Trails Coordinator and the project manager that installs pedestrian hybrid beacons. The City is currently installing twelve beacons City-wide but there is no funding for one at Cary and Commonwealth at this time.
